A Happy New Year & Hiker Online International

Dear Friends,

First of all, I would like to wish all the visitors and followers of my blog a Happy New Year! Thank you guys for visiting and following me on the world wide web.

I hope and pray that this place has been a blessing for you and that it will continue to be in 2020. Personally I always find it exciting to look forward when a new year lies ahead of us.

Walk for Jesus – Jerusalem Pilgrimage

I wonder and think about what kind of things the Lord has in store for all those who fear Him. As you know this year I hope to continue my Jerusalem Pilgrimage and am looking forward to what this exciting journey will bring the people I will meet abroad.

Hiker Online The Netherlands

One of our plans with our Hiking and Outdoors club ‘Hiker Online‘ is that we would like to start a ‘Hiker Online’ group for woman here in The Netherlands. Our men’s group seems to be a success and a blessing. So we thought: “Why not a woman’s group?”. And it looks promising already. We have had some interesting feedback from woman who love the Lord Jesus and have a passion for Hiking and Outdoors.

Hiker Online International

But in 2020 we are also looking across our borders. We are looking for Christians worldwide (men and woman) who would like to start a ‘Hiker Online’ initiative in their own country.

The idea is very basic and actually quite simple: use our logo, create your own website and organise a couple of ‘Hiking and Outdoor’ events (multi-day or dayhikes) in one year with a soulmate(!). Invite all your Hiking & Outdoor peers to join you. Everyone is welcome.

All the best for now and God bless.

Walter

How ONE FOR ISRAEL is bringing awakening to Israel

Something miraculous is happening today in Israel – after almost 2,000 years, it is now Jews & Arabs who are turning to Yeshua (Jesus) sharing the gospel with their own people in their own language!

There’s a powerful awakening happening in Israel today, with millions hearing the Gospel with our media outreach programs. Also through our Bible College we are training up pastors and equipping ministry leaders for the Harvest.

So join with us as we see awakening come to Israel and the nations and become ONE FOR ISRAEL!

Help us spread the word by sharing this video!

How to KNOW God’s Will for Your Life

Dear Friends,

Have you ever wondered what God wants you to do with your life? That’s the ultimate question for the Christian. “How to Find God’s Will” clearly shows you that you can know what He wants you to do. We have only one chance at this unspeakably precious life, and if we miss God’s will, everything else we do is futile.

JerUSAlem: Armageddon, America, and the Last Days (HD)

Dear Friends,

Where does America stand in the timeline of Biblical prophecy? Why is the United States so tightly tied to the State of Israel? And what are the irrefutable signs of the end of the age?

If you know your Bible, you will know that the compass of prophecy always points toward the city of Jerusalem. That is the light that reveals God’s timeline.

And if you are keeping a watchful eye on that volatile city, you will know that we are drawing near to the climax of the ages—the glorious Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Are you ready?

YouTube premiere on the 2nd of december.

Sheep Among Wolves: Volume 1 and 2

Dear Friends,

Today, Iran’s aggressive posture and rogue nuclear weapons program are straining the patience and nerve of the international community. With Iranian fighters, funds, and strategic weapons flooding into the Middle East, significant war appears inevitable. Meanwhile, something surprising is taking place inside this controversial country.

Muslim-background Iranians are leading a quiet but mass exodus out of Islam and bowing their knees to the Jewish Messiah—with kindled affection toward the Jewish people. The Iranian awakening is a rapidly-reproducing discipleship movement that owns no property, no buildings, has no budget, no 501c3 status or any identifier that the church in the west says you must have and is predominantly led by women. THIS IS THEIR STORY.

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”

‘The Last Stop’ – The Story of Aviv Ministry // Israel, Drug Addiction

Dear Friends,

‘The Last Stop’ is a film about the works of Aviv Ministry in one of the most hopeless area’s in Israel. Where once was a bus station, now there is a place of prostitution, drug abuse, homelessness and refugees. With a soup kitchen close to the old bus station and a rehab centre in Beer-Sheva, Aviv Ministries aims to help those who can’t help themselves.

About Aviv Ministry

Drug addiction has penetrated all groups of Israeli society, but those we meet in Tel-Aviv are mostly immigrants from the former Soviet Union, aged 20 to 40. Besides them, we also minister to native Israelis – Jews and Arabs – and other people. However, not only these people benefit from our work in the long run, but also their relatives – wives, children, parents – as well as the whole community itself.

We see that young people – drug addicts, prostitutes and the homeless – die in Tel-Aviv streets all the time, and those who remain alive live in real slavery to drugs, and this cannot be even called “life”. Drug addicts loose all their possessions, their families and their health. As time goes by, they become so sick and skinny that remind inmates of a concentration camp. Sadly, they represent the most vulnerable group of our society, for nobody really cares for them. This is true for thousands of young men and women in today’s Israel. Addiction is a terrible disease and noone can wholly cure a person from it but God.

Meal in Aviv Center

Our work with drug addicts began in 2005 with table ministry, street evangelism, Bible studies, etc. In 2012 the Lord put it on our hearts to establish an outreach center in Tel-Aviv. That was how Aviv Center came into being. Today it is situated in a building next to a disused bus terminus in downtown Tel-Aviv. The terminus is known as the ‘Last Stop.’ (The levels of addiction and prostitution are so severe there, that for many it is the ‘Last Stop’ indeed. They can’t get any lower.

Soup

Our center is open 6 days a week and hundreds of addicts pass through it every month. They come daily in all kinds of conditions for a bowl of soup, clean clothes and to get first aid for their damaged arms and legs. Whilst in the center they are exposed to the unconditional love of Jesus and the teaching of His word.

Have a great day!
